They were delivered in the cutest box which kept them well protected so when I received them they weren't damaged in any way at all. Once you open the box they are also packaged beautifully inside with a water soaked material to keep them alive until they reach your door. I have had my flowers for 5 days now and they are still going strong without a dead petal in sight and they still smell as gorgeous as when they arrived.

The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

The Body Shop has seriously upped their face mask game with their 5 NEW Superfood Masks! I have always been a huge fan of their Seaweed Face Mask and when I saw they had a charcoal mask coming out had to get my hands on it. There are 5 different masks that have been released which target all skin types and problem areas:

The Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask has instantly become my favourite mask of all time after one use, the results were incredible! It's three key ingredients are Bamboo Charcoal from the Himalayan Foothills, Green Tea Leaves from Japan and Community Trade Tea Tree Oil from Kenya. These ensure the impurities and excess oils are drawn from the skin whilst keeping the skin looking clearer with a natural glow. After the detox has taken place and you are ready to remove the mask, the green tea leaves help to exfoliate the skin.

I absolutely love this mask - you can actually feel it working when it's on the skin. It does have quite a strong herbal scent to it so I wouldn't recommend putting it too close to the eyes or mouth area however with a few candles I found it extremely relaxing! You can use this mask however you like, perhaps multi-mask and apply it to your T-Zone and then a mask of your choice on the rest of your face but I actually used this all over my face. I applied it thinly using a cheapish foundation brush, then applied it a little thicker to the areas where my pores are the largest. It took around 13minutes to completely dry and I left it a further 2 minutes just so it would work it's magic a little longer!

I wish I had taken a before and after photo for this mask because the results honestly shocked me as my pores were a LOT less visible after one use.

Flawless Hourglass Face/ Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick Review

Hourglass Cosmetics are so luxurious I just had to try their NEW Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick after seeing so many positive reviews about it. It claims to be 'the coverage of a concealer, the fluidity of a liquid and the weightlessness of a powder. 12 hour long wearing and waterproof' - so as anyone would, I had extremely high expectations of this foundation stick and it has honestly exceeded them! Paired with Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer in Mood Light it gives the most photoshopped flawless finish but without the cakey feel/look to it.

The Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer in Mood Light is my holy grail primer as it has a gorgeous lavender tint to it so it is perfect for colour correcting the face and giving an all over natural glow. I have actually worn this primer alone with just a tiny amount of powder just to keep me matte and my skin instantly looked healthier! Hourglass packaging is always so sleek and sophisticated. I absolutely love the packaging for this foundation stick, the triangular shape allows you to get to the places you couldn't with a round one and gives such smooth application.

The foundation stick is quite pricey however it is completely worth it. When purchasing it I was convinced to buy the brush too in order to get the best results - however I don't feel you would need to buy the brush to get amazing results as it costs the same amount as the foundation.

This foundation blends the more you buff as the heat created melts the foundation so its seamless on the skin. It is a very high coverage foundation depending on how much you apply (I was recommended 2-3 lines per cheek/forehead) so I much prefer this for an evening makeup look rather than all day as I have quite oily skin so I found by the end it turned a little cakey in the oily areas.

£5 OVAL BRUSHES

I have always preferred applying my foundation with a sponge to get a flawless finish but when I saw the new craze over oval brushes I had to give them a go! After watching one of Chloe Morello's videos where she uses the Artis brushes I had a look online and I just couldn't justify spending that much money on a brush I wasn't 100% sure I would get on with. You can find the Artis brushes here, they retail around 35USD for the smallest and the prices go up from there - plus shipping to the UK.

I took a look at cheap versions online and came across this rose gold 5 piece set for only £5.64 with free post and packaging so I couldn't resist. When I ordered them the estimated delivery time was about 30 days due to shipping from Hong Kong and it arrived after about 3 weeks but I mean with free postage, who am I to complain?

I am SO SO pleased I took a chance and purchased them - they make cream product application so easy, smooth and fast!

Oval 9 - This is my favourite brush out of the lot, it has so many uses as it covers a large area on the face so doesn't take much work at all. I would use this for primer, foundation, cream bronzer or setting powder.

Oval 7 - I love this brush for concealer and cream contouring, it's the perfect size.

Oval 6 - This brush is absolutely perfect for precise blending and applying cream eyeshadow/primer all over the lid.

Linear 3 - This brush is supposedly for liquid liner however I actually found the bristles way too long to make the liner precise. It is however perfect for smudging liner and applying shadow under the eye too.

Circle 2 - I didn't like this brush for eyeshadow at all, although it works really well for applying lip colour and also popping concealer on blemishes.

I ordered the brushes here. I would definitely recommend them for the price they cost me!
