Nars Sheer Glow Review

28 February
I don't know why I haven't purchased this foundation sooner - it's absolutely gorgeous. After seeing tons of positive reviews on this foundation I went ahead and jumped on the wagon! I've been using this product for roughly a week now and already I can tell it's going to be my new holy grail foundation. The packaging for this foundation is really pretty - it's so simple however it looks high end! The only downer I have is the fact that it doesn't come with a pump - I do recommend that you buy this separately for £3, it just saves you from getting the foundation everywhere and wasting product. The foundation is available here (RRP £31).
It's the perfect coverage for every day use, it's super creamy and light yet keeps my skin looking radiant and covers minor imperfections. The colour match for this foundation is perfect for my skin tone and this is quite difficult because of how pale I am! The colour I was matched to is Mont Blanc if you're interested.

This foundation is a satin finish and photographs really well! It also lasts a really long time, I trailed this over a 9 hour shift at work and when I got home I found that it still made my skin look slightly airbrushed and had barely moved - the only part that had rubbed off slightly was my chin where I had been leaning on my hand quite a bit.

I was very worried this foundation would make my skin look oily/too dewy however it completely proved me wrong! It blends really well and I can imagine it's build-able however I haven't tried this yet personally.

If you're like I was and have been wanting to try Nars Sheer Glow for ages all I will say is GIVE IN AND GO FOR IT -  you will not be disappointed!!

THE PERFECT MATCH | 4 Holy Grail Lip Liners

21 February

These 4 liners have been with me since the beginning and will stay with me until the end. No matter what mood i'm in - at least one of these is guaranteed to suit the makeup I go for! From nude to deep purple these four colours are ESSENTIAL in every girls make up collection. (Left -> Right: Sleek Eau La La Liner in Venom, Mac Liner in Ruby Woo, Mac Liner in Soar, Rimmel Lasting Finish Liner in Cappuccino)

Rimmel Lasting Finish Liner in Cappuccino, £2.99
Everyone loves a nude lip, right? This is my absolute favourite lip liner as its the perfect colour to match all my nude lipsticks. I first saw this on Sarah Ashcroft (That Pommie Girl) and instantly fell in love with it, I have linked the video here so you can see it in action. It's the perfect nude brown - my favourite combo at the minute with this liner is Mac's Honey Love, Velvet Teddy or Lime Crime Velvitines (Cashmere). This would also work really well with something darker such as Mac Stone and would look gorgeous!

Mac Soar Lip Pencil, £12.50
If you haven't heard of this lip liner - WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I cannot express to you how much I LOVE this liner. It is the most perfect pinky nude and goes with so many lipsticks. It can sometimes be a little hard to get hold of as it is apparently one of the liners used by Kylie Jenner, but if you can get your hands on it, please do! This liner goes perfectly with Mac Pink Plaid, Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl, a simple pink gloss - I have been loving Dior Addict 247 Gloss or my all time favourite pairing with this lip liner is ABH Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood.

Mac Ruby Woo Lip Pencil, £12.50
If you're a lover of a red lip then you will love this liner! It is the perfect bright yet stunning red - it is a match made in heaven with Mac's Ruby Woo Lipstick, however it actually looks gorgeous with any red lipstick! I sometimes find Ruby Woo Lipstick to be drying on the lips however with this liner it glides on much smoother and makes it last that little bit longer!

Sleek Eau La La Liner in Venom, £4.99
This liner is actually more of a crayon - it glides on so smoothly! I LOVE this colour for when I'm wearing a more vampy lip such as Mac Diva or Topshop Inhibition. The only thing with this liner is that it has a slightly thicker tip so it's sometimes a little tricky to get a really defined line, however with some practice this liner looks so pretty!!

6 WAYS TO DE-STRESS YOUR SKIN WITH CLARINS

10 February
There's nothing better than having a pamper night an the end of a rough day so I thought i'd share my favourite products to really take the pressure off your shoulders. Whether you're a high school student with the stress of exams, just simply having a stressful day or even a new mum - I guarantee that there is a product in this post that will help you de-stress.

Every single Clarins product I have tried I have completely fallen in love with, they're such luxurious products and really help me to unwind after a busy day. My bank certainly doesn't love me for this however I would recommend you try them for yourself and I'm sure you'll be in the same boat as me!

First of all is the struggle of waking up in the morning, along with a lot of other girls I am NOT a morning person - however since using this Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate I have actually been excited about hopping out of bed and getting straight in the shower. It is perfect for early morning showers, after the gym and incredible in a hot bath. The scent is HEAVENLY, it literally smells like a spa and this is all thanks to the essential oils that leave your skin cleansed and super soft! It retails for £20 and is available here. You can thank me later!

Eau Des Jardin - oh my god. This scent is beautiful, it's fruity yet floral! Theres something about this that instantly uplifts me as soon as I spray this. It's perfect for any time of the day, it will completely refresh your senses and instantly put you in a more positive mind. There are 3 different scents available however this is my absolute favourite and if you haven't smelt this, YOU HAVE TO. It isn't cheap but it's worth every penny, it retails at £32 and is available here.

Beauty Flash Balm has won so many awards! It's a gorgeous product and will instantly brighten & tighten the skin. This product is perfect for tired skin that needs a little pick me up. It can be used daily as part of your skin care regime, as a primer for your makeup or once/twice a week as a mask as the ultimate treat. It retails at £29 and is available here.

A manicure is a must when it comes to my pamper evening and it wouldn't be complete without the Hand and Nail Treatment Cream, it leave my hands/nails in such good condition. It's the perfect hand cream, as well as keeping my hands super soft it also helps strengthen my nails. It retails at £21 but is 100% worth it! You can grab it here. Who cares about rude customers? At least your nails look good!

The Clarins Instant Light Concealer is fairly new to my collection but I am honestly SO impressed with it. This concealer actually has caffeine as one of its ingredients to help fight dark circles as well as covering them. Dark circles are my worst enemy and I have really struggled to keep them covered until I purchased this product. It helps keep the glow in my skin so I look awake throughout the day and not like a complete zombie! It retails at £21.50 and is available here - I use the colour Light 01 if you are interested.

Finally onto my absolute favourite product from Clarins - Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil. This is aimed at dehydrated skin, however there are 2 others available for oily or dry skin types. A bit like the tonic concentrate this scent is also heavenly! It has so many gorgeous oils to keep the skin repaired, hydrated and revitalised. I use this product over night so it really has time to work on my skin and I find that it really helps me unwind/sleep after a really long day. Every time I use this oil my skin looks much more radiant the following day! It retails for £32 and is available here.

If you really want to try any of these products before you buy then just go to your nearest Clarins counter and they always have samples available!
